Q: How do I care for my pine furniture?

Q: How do I care for my pine furniture?A: Try to keep the humidity and temperature steady around your pine furniture – heat can cause it to shrink and crack and humidity can cause it to expand. In other words, do not place your pine furniture in direct sunlight or right next to a radiator. Also, do not place any items – food or otherwise – that are chilled or hot directly onto the surface. Doing so can cause marking. Clean your pine furniture with a damp (not wet) cloth. Do not use soap. You can re-treat your pine furniture by using block wax and rubbing it over your entire piece (follow the manufacturers instruction).
